ATLANTA -- IHOP restaurants are rolling back the prices of their pancakes for one day only - Monday, July 8.

For 55 cents, customers can get a short stack to help celebrate IHOP's 55th anniversary. The offer is good for one day only.

Fifty-five years ago, IHOP was opened by Al and Jerry Lapin just outside Los Angeles. Today, the restaurant has grown to include over 1,500 locations in all 50 states. The menu has also grown to list many flavors of pancakes, but two classics have been served since day one - buttermilk pancakes and chicolate chip pancakes.

IHOP restaurants can be found in many Georgia communities. For more information on locations and menu choices, visit IHOP online
