UNION CITY, Ga. -- Christian City is gearing up for its sixth annual holiday fundraiser, the Children's Chair-ity Event.
Every year, local artists hand-paint wooden chairs for the Chair-ity. The chairs are sold at the event during a Santa's Workshop Silent Auction, which also features other great prizes like a weekend trip to Hilton Head Island, a Pandora bracelet, gift baskets and tickets to the Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker.
All of the money raised by the event goes to the Children's Village at Christian City, which has provided a loving home for more than 1,000 abused and neglected children for 47 years.
