'Light up the Night' toy drive to help local families

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- The Peachtree City Police Department is gearing up for its annual "Light up the Night" event, a toy drive that ensures every family in town has a very merry holiday season.

Residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys at three locations on certain days in November or December. The police department needs toys for both girls and boys, ages two to 17.

Official "Light up the Night" partners include Toys for Tots, the Angel Tree Project and Fayette Holiday Helpers.

* Sunday, Nov. 27 -- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
* Sunday, Dec. 4 -- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
* Sunday, Dec. 11 -- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Target
* Thursday, Dec. 1 -- 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
* Tuesday, Dec. 6 -- 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
* Thursday, Dec. 8 -- 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
