In today’s economy, it’s important for shoppers to get the most bang for their buck and the thrift store is where you can do that. Open your mind fashionistas and fashionmistas, the thrift store isn’t only for those in need.

Favorite thrift store in Peachtree City, Clothes Less Traveled Thrift Shop, is a non-profit thrift store that serves the people of the south Atlanta. The store has been open for more than ten years and in addition to selling affordable fashion clothes to the community, has given the community a place to volunteer and perform community service. The store is located at 459 Highway 74 in Peachtree City.

Earth’s Mama Thrift Store is has been open for three years and they sell “recycled” clothes and even some new. The store is a non-profit and it helps women and children who are victims of domestic violence. The clothes are mostly newer and in style. What the store doesn’t sell is donated to homeless people in Atlanta. The store is located at 125 Fisher Street in Fayetteville.

The Upscale Resale Shoppe in Newnan is a non-profit thrift store. All of the proceeds from this store are donated Southwest Christian Care Hospice and Children’s Respite. The store sells clothing for the entire family, accessories for women and children’s items. All of the clothes, sold here, are current and most of them are made by famous designers. The store stresses that it isn’t a “vintage boutique” however they do sell vintage items from time to time. The store is located at 31 Market Square Road in Newnan.

The old-faithful America’s Thrift is good for those who enjoy bargains and thrifty finds. The store, like most others is color-coded and they offer discounts daily, depending on a daily color coded discount system. Shoppers can receive from 30% to 50% off select purchases. Customers complain that they aren’t able to try on clothes before they buy them, however, the store offers a store credit to all returned clothing.
