Teens arrested for water balloon attacks

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- Peachtree City Police have arrested six teenagers for throwing water balloons at golf cart riders, injuring at least two people.

In one of the cases, a man said someone threw water balloons at him while he was driving his cart, causing him to lose control and crash into an embankment.

A woman also told police she suffered facial bruising when someone threw a balloon at her on the golf cart path behind Cherry Tree Lane.

The teen suspects were found in a golf cart full of water balloons on May 30 near the intersection of Kelly Drive and Hip Pocket Road.

All six teens -- 18-year-old Paul Balmes, 18-year-old Riley Noonan and four juveniles -- were charged with reckless conduct.
