ATLANTA -- The weather is finally getting warmer, which means it's the perfect time to visit one of the many pools in Metro Atlanta.

The 11Alive Web Team has compiled a list of public pools located throughout North Georgia:

* Northeast Metro
Clarke, Forsyth, Gwinnett and Hall Counties

* South Metro
Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Henry and South Fulton Counties

* Intown and North Fulton
Also includes DeKalb County

PTC hosts forum to learn the warning signs

PEACHTEE CITY, Ga. – Does your child have a Facebook or Twitter account? Come out and educate yourself and your family about gangs and protecting yourself on the internet. The Peachtree City Police Department, in conjunction, with the J.C. Booth Middle School will hold a community forum and educational outreach program on gangs and Internet safety.

The first part of the program will educate and assist the parents of middle school aged children with recognizing signs of gang activity, ways to identify potential gang involvement and how to quickly report problems.

The second portion of this forum will assist parents in recognizing inappropriate conduct, contact, and content that children are being exposed to on the Internet and ways to help protect them. 

The event will be held at J.C. Booth Middle School which is located at 250 Peachtree Parkway South. The event is free and all are welcomed.

SOUTH METRO AREA – There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

Celebrate Earth Day at the Riverdale Town Centre from 5:00 to 9:00p p.m. on Friday, April 22. The event will showcase different local vendors and actives that will enhance the environment.

Join the Peactreee City Community for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. The event will be held on Saturday, April 23 at Shakerag Knoll on McIntosh Trail. Everyone will be admitted for free, to this event. Fire trucks will be on display and children will be able to partake in games, face painting and jumping in the moonwalk. Festivities began at 9:00 a.m.

The Main Street Academy in College Park will host their Spring Festival on Saturday, also. This outdoor festival includes karaoke, moonwalks, carnival games, food, a silent auction and prizes. Tickets to this event costs $10 and every ticket includes unlimited play.

This Saturday, April 2nd, come and enjoy Art in The Park on the Square in McDonough.  Artist from all venues will be there. It is a fun day from 12n - 5p with free admission.  Try your hand at learning to paint or just enjoy the beauty created by others.  Artist Jeff Hunter said, " We encourage learning, we always have a couple of paint brushes and canvas around."  You maybe surprised at what you can do with a little guidance.

This workshop is a free, two-part informational workshop, part one was entitled “Working through it, to the Courts.”
