Triathlon to close several roads Saturday | News

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- The TRI PTC Sprint Triathlon will be held this weekend, and several roads near the south side of the city will be affected.

The bike portion of the race will begin at City Hall and head south on Hip Pocket Road. Cyclists will move east on McIntosh Trail to Robinson Road, head south on Robinson, loop through the Colonnade subdivision and return north on the same route.

Drivers should expect delays from about 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Anyone who must leave their subdivisions along these roads will be directed by police to turn on their flashers and follow behind patrol cars, which will be roaming the race route.
