Humane Society plans for growth

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- The Fayette County Humane Society has launched a campaign to help bring a new building to its campus.

Every spring, the FCHS receives more litters of puppies and kittens than it can comfortably house. Many times, the organization cannot find enough foster families to care for the animals, which means the dogs and cats run the risk of being abandoned or left in dangerous situations.

Money donated to the FCHS building fund will be kept in an interest-bearing account until the organization has received enough to build a facility or refurbish an existing building.

Learn more and donate at fayettehumane.org. Be sure to specify that the money is for the building fund.
