Peachtree City To Hold City Council Meeting, February 16th

PEACHTREE CITY -- (City of Peachtree City) The Mayor and City Council will meet on Thursday, February 17th at 7:00 p.m., at City Hall. The agenda includes several budget amendments, including additional funding for the Fire Department Specialty Dive Team, funding for the Economic Development Department, and funding designation for the Kedron Bubble acquisition process to begin. 

Council will also consider a change in the calculation method for commercial and residential building permits, the formation of a City Facilities Authority for more flexibility in financing future facility projects, and funding recommendations for the Peachtree Parkway/Crosstown Drive Intersection and the Hwy 54 W Multi-use Bridge & Gateway Feature.

The Mayor and City Council of Peachtree City will hold a workshop on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, 6:30 p.m., in Council Chambers.

The purpose of the workshop is to discuss:

• Modification to the current Schedule of Fees for residential and commercial Building Permits to calculate these fees based on the valuation method

• Fire Department specialty dive team

• Fire Department work cycle

• Gathering Place business plan

• Kedron Bubble acquisition timeline (memo will be available Monday)

City of Peachtree City Hosts Special Called Meeting, February 5th

The Mayor and Council of Peachtree City will hold a Special Called Meeting on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 151 Willowbend Road. The purpose of the meeting is to enter Executive Session to discuss a personnel issue.

This agenda is subject to change at any time up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.

This Thursday’s Regular Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, and the public is welcome. 

The agenda includes several proposed ordinance amendments, including the Sign Ordinance, Traffic Ordinance (parking restrictions and the definition of sidewalks and paths), the Tree Ordinance, and the future extension of Sims Road.

The Mayor & City Council will meet Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., at City Hall to discuss the 2011 Resident Survey and the rate and distribution of Peachtree City’s Hotel/Motel Tax. The public is welcome.

Peachtree City Council Meeting, November 18th

This Thursday, November 18th at 7:00 p.m., the Mayor and City Council will meet at City Hall (151 Willowbend Road).

This meeting’s agenda items include: amending the fee schedule telecommunications tower and facility applications, a telecommunications franchise agreement with NextG, the pool management contract, and a resolution of support for the 2010 Fayette County Transportation Plan.

City Council Meeting, 7pm Tonight

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Peachtree City City Hall (151 Willow Bend Road, Peachtree City), the Peachtree City Council will again consider the revised Telecommunications Towers and Antennas Ordinance.

Other agenda items include: Council discussion of the WASA Rate Increase, a request to Fayette County to withdraw from the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), the official removal of the TCK Boulevard Extension and the Crosstown Drive widening from the County Transportation Plan.
