Fayetteville robber strikes again, this time at local drug store

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. – The Fayetteville robber strikes again, this time at the Rite Aid store located on Highway 54.

According to the police report on Thursday, April 7, the suspect walked in the Rite Aid store at approximately 4:00 PM, bought a candy bar and proceeded to snatch an undisclosed amount of cash from the register when it opened.

The cashier fought back but stopped when he told her he was armed. The suspect then fled on foot into a wooded area beyond the parking lot.

The suspect is described as being a “white male between 35-40 years of age, 5’10”-6’0” with a slim build and unshaven face. The male was wearing blue jeans, a gray sweat shirt/pullover, a dark colored baseball cap and sports sunglasses.”

Police believe this suspect, also, robbed Jan’s Florist, earlier this week. Anyone with information about the robbery is being urged to contact the Fayetteville Police at (770) 461-4441.
